‘Jerry on Top’ celebrates 51st day of screening

KATHMANDU: The film ‘Jerry on Top’ celebrated its 51st day of successful screening by organizing a special ceremony in Kathmandu on Saturday

The film, which was released on October 17, is still running in a few theaters.

The production team organized a special event at Fcube Cinemas, Kathmandu, on Saturday evening. The event was attended by the film’s cast, director, producer, and other crew members.

Speaking on the occasion, Anmol KC, who plays the lead role in the film, said the film became successful due to the audience’s love and support. “This is not just a celebration for ‘Jerry on Top’ but for the entire Nepali film industry,” he said. “I will continue to bring good films in the days ahead.”

Actress Jasita Gurung and director Suyog Gurung also expressed gratitude toward all the viewers.

According to box office data, the film has grossed Rs 122.3 million at the box office so far.

Produced under the banner of Ananya Films Production, the movie features Anmol KC, Jasita Gurung, Aanchal Sharma, Bhuwan KC, Kedar Ghimire, Usha Khadgi, and others in major roles.
