Janamat Party’s central committee meeting kicks off

KATHMANDU: The central committee meeting of the Janamat Party has begun in Bardibas of Mahottari.

According to Sharad Singh Yadav, spokesperson for the Janamat Party, the two-day meeting will discuss various issues, including unification with like-minded identity-based parties. He added that strengthening party organization, implementing a new republic, institutionalizing the federal democratic republic, and implementing federalism, among others, are the agendas of the meeting.

Janamat is in talks with Resham Chaudhary, the patron of Nagarik Unmukti Party, for unification. It is reported that the preparation for unification between the two parties is in its final stages.
