Janamat decides to field Dhaniram Chaudhary in Rupandehi-3

KATHMANDU: Janamat Party has selected Dhaniram Chaudhary as its candidate for the by-election in Rupandehi-3 seat of the House of Representatives.

“The party has formally decided to field Dhaniram Chaudhary for the by-election in Rupandehi,” said Janamat Party Spokesperson Sharad Singh Yadav.

Chaudhary, who contested the 2022 general election in Rupandeh-1 from Nagarik Unmukti Party, joined Janamat on August 24. There were speculations that Chaudhary defected from Nagarik Unmukti after he was promised candidacy in Rupandehi-3 by the Janamat Party.

The Election Commission is holding the by-election in Rupandehi-3 on November 3. The seat became vacant after the demise of Deepak Bohora of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP).
