KATHMANDU: Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar returned home, wrapping up his two-day Nepal visit on Friday afternoon.
Minister for Foreign Affairs NP Saud and Foreign Secretary Sewa Lamsal saw off Jaishankar at the Tribhuvan International Airport.
Jaishankar arrived in Nepal on Thursday to co-chair the 7th meeting of the Nepal-India Joint Commission.
During his stay in Nepal, he paid courtesy calls on President Ram Chandra Poudel and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, as well as leaders of different political parties.
He offered prayers at the Pashupatinath Temple in Kathmandu on Friday morning and also inaugurated the Central Library building of Tribhuvan University, built with Indian assistance.
