Continuing the tradition, a main celebration committee was formed under the chairmanship of then-Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. The committee had already sent a circular to all state bodies, instructing them to organize activities to mark Constitution Day.

According to Rishiram Tiwari, a joint secretary at the Ministry of Home Affairs, a special ceremony will be held at the Army Pavilion in Tundikhel for the main celebration.

Formal invitations have already been sent to President Ram Chandra Paudel, Vice President Ramsahay Prasad Yadav, Chief Justice Prakash Man Singh Raut, National Assembly Chairperson Narayan Prasad Dahal and officials of different constitutional bodies and other dignitaries, according to Tiwari.

President Paudel will be the Chief Guest of the ceremony, while Prime Minister Sushila Karki will address the ceremony.

Constitution Day celebration at the district level will be led by chairpersons of the District Coordination Committees. These committees will include local municipal government heads and representatives of relevant bodies. Similarly, the organizing committee at the local level will be chaired by the head of the municipal government.
