Indian, Pakistan FMs greet Saud

KATHMANDU: Foreign ministers of Pakistan and India have greeted Narayan Prasad (NP) Saud on his appointment as the Minister for Foreign Affairs.

Indian foreign minister S Jaishankar has sent best wishes for Saud’s successful tenure. “Congratulate H.E. N.P. Saud on his appointment as the Foreign Minister of Nepal. Look forward to working together to strengthen our multifaceted partnership. Best wishes for success in your new role (sic),” S Jaishankar wrote in a tweet post.

Similarly, Pakistan’s foreign minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has extended his warm felicitations to Saud on his appointment as the Foreign Minister of Nepal. “Look forward to working with him for the advancement of friendly relations between Pakistan and Nepal (sic),” Zardari wrote in a tweet post on Monday.

Saud was sworn in as Minister of Foreign Affairs on Sunday.
