KATHMANDU: Indian Ambassador to Nepal Naveen Srivastava paid courtesy calls on Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development Prakash Man Singh and Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Arzu Rana Deuba on Tuesday.

During the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Shrestha
and Ambassador Srivastava discussed various issues of bilateral interest and mutual concerns.

“Ambassador Srivastava extended best wishes to Deputy Prime Minister Singh for a successful tenure and said the Government of India was ready to enhance bilateral cooperation,” an official at the Ministry of Urban Development said. “The two also talked the southern neighbor’s possible cooperation in urban development, river pollution control and waste management.”

Ambassador Srivastava also met Foreign Minister Dr Arzu Rana Deuba on the day. Various matters relating to Nepal-India relations and cooperation were discussed on the occasion, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a post on social media platform X.
