KATHMANDU: Ima Ghising (20) of Seed Financial Academy has become the world topper in ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) examinations.
In the examination held in December, Ghising topped the AA (Audit and Assurance) and TX (Taxation) papers. She was ranked first globally out of 12,750 and 11,788 students, respectively, in audit & assurance and taxation papers.
According to ACCA Nepal, Ghising’s outstanding performance has earned her the coveted title of world topper, surpassing thousands of other candidates globally.
Ghising started the ACCA course in 2018 and has dedicated herself to honing her skills and knowledge in the field of accounting and finance. Her achievements serve as an inspiration for many young individuals from Nepal who aspire to pursue a career in finance, according to ACCA Nepal.
The ACCA program is globally recognized as a rigorous and challenging professional qualification in accounting and finance.
At present, four colleges – Certified College of Accountancy (CCA), NCA College of Management, Seed Financial Academy and The British College – offer ACCA courses in Nepal.
