KATHMANDU: Nepal Teachers’ Association (NTA) has honored Himal Press scribe Ramesh Dawadi.
Former Prime Minister and Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba honored Dawadi with a letter of appreciation and cash during the 25th federal gathering of the NTA in Kathmandu on Thursday.
Dawadi was honored in recognition of his contribution to the protest of school teachers through his news reports and analysis, according to the NTA.
On the occasion, the NTA also honored three other journalists—Narayan Kilmabu, Sabina Karki and Tanka Prasad Joshi.
