KATHMANDU: Chairman of the National Assembly, Narayan Prasad Dahal, has expressed concerns over the lack of legislative business for the upper house.
Speaking at an interaction program in Chitwan on Thursday, Dahal said the government needs to provide business to the National Assembly. “The pace of drafting laws has not met people’s expectations. Even the drafted laws have been left unimplemented,” he added.
Chairman Dahal acknowledged the inability to draft necessary laws.
