Govt forms team to hold talks with loan shark victims

KATHMANDU: The government has formed a team under Joint Secretary Rudra Prasad Pandit to hold talks with loan shark victims.

The government formed the team after loan shark victims started a demonstration in Kathmandu on Friday. They arrived in Kathmandu on Thursday after a walk of nearly 25 days.

“Since the government has formed a talks team under Joint Secretary Joint Secretary Rudra Prasad Pandit, we invite you to attend the meeting by forming a group of five members,” the letter sent to the loan shark victims by the home ministry reads.
