KATHMANDU: The government has decided to provide a grant to the Gen Z Martyrs’ Family Welfare Society.
Government spokesperson and Minsiter for Communication and Information Technology Jagdish Kharel said that a cabinet meeting held on Monday decided to extend the grant to run welfare programs for families of Gen Z martyrs.
The grant amount, however, has not been specified.
The meeting also decided to promote Investigation Director Om Bahadur Khadka to the post of Additional Chief Investigation Director at the National Investigation Department. Likewise, it decided to nominate Kul Prasad Neupane as a member of the management committee responsible for managing the assets of troubled cooperative institutions and settling their liabilities.
Similarly, the Cabinet approved a memorandum of understanding between the Government of Nepal and the Government of Oman, endorsed a labour agreement between the Government of Nepal and the Government of Israel, and approved the Ethanol Blending in Petrol Order, 2025.
According to Minister Kharel, the meeting also approved the Forest (Third Amendment) Regulations, 2025, and decided to promote Ghanashyam Parajuli to the rank of Deputy Auditor General.
