Ghising dismisses NCP merger rumors Kulman Ghising

KATHMANDU: Ujyalo Nepal Party Chairperson Kulman Ghising has said that reports claiming that his party is set to merge with the Nepali Communist Party (NCP) are misleading and false.

Writing a post on his Facebook page, Ghising denounced reports and social media posts that the Ujyalo Nepal Party is preparing to merge with other parties, particularly the NCP.

“Rumors circulating on various social media platforms linking the Ujyalo Nepal Party, of which I am the chairperson, and my name with a proposed merger with other parties, especially the Nepal Communist Party (NCP), are completely misleading and untrue,” he wrote. “I would like to clearly inform everyone that the Ujyalo Nepal Party is moving forward independently on the basis of its own policies, principles, and programs without merging with any party, and will continue to do so in the future as well.”

Ghising has requested all concerned not to believe such baseless and misleading reports.
