KATHMANDU: An unidentified gang looted Rs 8 million from a cooperative employee in Dhanusha on Monday.
According to police, the gang threatened Birendra Mahato of Raghunathpur Cooperative by showing a pistol at Raghunathpur in Dhanusha and decamped with Rs 8 million that he had just withdrawn from a branch office of Himalayan Bank Ltd.
Madhesh Province Police Office Spokesperson SP Subash Bohara said police were investigating the case.
