KATHMANDU: The Gagan Thapa-led Nepali Congress (NC) has submitted updated details of the Central Working Committee (CWC) elected by the party’s 2nd Special General Convention held in Kathmandu to Acting Chief Election Commissioner Ram Prasad Bhandari.
President Thapa, Vice President Bishwa Prakash Sharma, General Secretary Pradeep Paudel, Joint General Secretary Dr Dila Sangraula Pant, and other office-bearers met with Bhandari on Thursday afternoon and handed over the updated information.
They formally informed the EC that the parties’ correspondence and decisions will henceforth bear the signature of the newly elected President Thapa.
The party leaders visited the Election Commission (EC) after holding the first meeting of the newly formed Central Working Committee in Kupandole.
