
KATHMANDU: The earthquake with epicenter in Bhairavkunda of Sindhupalchowk district early Friday morning caused damages in seven districts.
According to Nepal Police Spokesperson, DIG Dan Bahadur Karki, the earthquake resulted in injuries and caused damage to houses in Sindhupalchok, Bhojpur, Kathmandu, Dolakha, Sankhuwasabha, Myagdi and Dhading districts. Karki said that six people were injured, while four houses—one completely damaged and three partially damaged—and one cattle shed were affected.
Additionally, a police office building in Kodari, Sindhupalchowk, sustained partial damage.
“Two people were injured in Kathmandu, while two houses were damaged in Sankhuwasabha. In Sindhupalchok, one prisoner sustained injuries, and three families were displaced,” the Nepal Police said in a statement on Friday. “A total of 13 quake-related incidents have been reported in the affected districts so far.”
