Four in race to become UML Bagmati chair

KATHMANDU: Four leaders are competing to become the new chairman of CPN-UML’s Bagmati Province Committee.

According to the Bagmati Province Committee of the party, Krishna Prasad Dahal, Keshar Bahadur Budhathoki, Kailash Prasad Dhungel, and Sanu Kumari Shrestha have submitted their candidacies for the chairman’s position. Similarly, five leaders—Rajendra Rajthala, Ishwar Chandra Pokharel, Dawa Dorje Lama, Narayan Prasad Khatiwada, and Subash Chandra Thakuri—have filed their candidacies for the vice-chairman’s position. Likewise, Ratna Gurung, Nawaraj Silwal, Hasta Bahadur Pandit, and Dr. Ram Kumar Adhikari are in the running for the secretary’s post.

Twelve candidates are vying for the position of Deputy Secretary.
