KATHMANDU: Four people, including three members of the same family, died in a jeep accident in Bajhang district in far-western Nepal on Thursday night.
The jeep, traveling from Talkot Rural Municipality to the district headquarters, Chainpur, met with an accident near Dhamena, according to District Police Office, Bajhang.
Three people died on the spot, while one succumbed to injuries on the way to the hospital.
The deceased have been identified as jeep driver Shamsher Malla (33) from Kedarsyu Rural Municipality-1, Jaumati Devi Dhami (72) and her son Bam Bahadur Dharmi (30) from Talkot Rural Municipality-4.
Dhami’s six-year-old granddaughter, Akriti, died on the way to District Hospital Bajhang.
