Former minister Budhathoki no more

ITAHARI: Former minister and Nepali Congress Central Committee member Keshav Kumar Budhatholi passed away on Monday night.

According to Krishna Chapagain, the secrtary of Jhapa District Committee of Nepali Congress, Budhathoki brathed his last at 11:30 pm on Monday at Birat Nursing Home. He was receiving treatment for prostate cancer.

Budhathoki served as the Minister for Water Resources under the Panchayati system before the political change of 1990s. He served as the Minister for General Administration in the government led by Pushpa Kamal Dahal in 2016.

He was admitted to Birat Nursing Home a week ago.
