KATHMANDU: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) lawmakers underwent a training session with Former Finance Secretary Rameshore Khanal on the principles and priorities of the budget on Tuesday.
RSP Vice President Dr Swarnim Wagle said the training was organized so that lawmakers can participate in issue-based discussions during the budget session of the parliament more effectively.
“Since the budget is a technical subject, we organized an interaction and training was conducted with the expert,” Dr Wagle said.
Former Finance Secretary Khanal briefed the RSP lawmakers on the technical aspects of the budget as well as its hidden dimensions.
