KATHMANDU: Payment service provider Fonepay settled payments worth Rs 10 billion in a single day on October 17.
Issuing a statement, FonePay said it holds a 99% market share in payments-to-merchant (P2M) and a 62% share in people-to-people (P2P) payment segments.
Commenting on the all-time high transaction settlement, FonePay CEO Diwas Kumar said the company’s efforts to enhance the digital payment system are becoming fruitful. “We are working to further expand payment solution systems as per the needs of our valued customers,” Remi added.
Established in 2019, FonePay has more than 164 partners, 18 million customers, and 1.2 million merchants in its network.
