KATHMANDU: The death toll due to disaster incidents across the country since Thursday afternoon has reached 129.
According to Nepal Police, 62 are missing and 86 are injured. Likewise, 3,266 people have been rescued by security personnel from different parts of the country.
Landslides and floods triggered by incessant rain since Thursday have damaged hundreds of houses and displaced people across the country. Different roads have been washed away, while settlements near major rivers remain submerged under floodwaters.
