KATHMANDU: A flash flood on Wednesday evening in Bicchya, Himali Rural Municipality-1, Bajura, washed away 11 houses.
According to Nepal Police Inspector Dev Bahadur Chaudhary, Wards 1, 3, and 5 were the worst affected. Seven houses were damaged, and 17 more remain at risk.
The flood also affected government buildings and public infrastructure. Local ward offices, school buildings, water mills, and footbridges are vulnerable, said Himali Rural Municipality Chairperson Govinda Bahadur Malla.
