Five secretaries transferred

KATHMANDU: The government has transferred five secretaries. A cabinet meeting held on Thursday took the decision to this end.

According to the cabinet sources, Toyam Raya has been brought to the finance ministry as finance secretary from the Ministry of Commerce and Supplies. Incumbent finance secretary Krishna Hari Pushkar has been transferred to the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.

Similarly, Dr Ram Prasad Ghimire has been transferred to the finance ministry as revenue secretary, while incumbent revenue secretary Rameshwar Dangal has been moved to the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA).

Dr Ghimire is currently posted at Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CIAA).

Former finance secretary Madhu Kumar Marasini has been transferred from the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers to the Ministry of Commerce and Supplies.
