
KATHMANDU: Replacement bills for five ordinances, which were approved by both houses, were presented in the House of Representatives on Wednesday.
Minister for Finance Bishnu Prasad Paudel presented Economic Procedures and Financial Responsibility (First Amendment) Bill, Economic and Business Environment Reform and Investment Promotion (Amendment) Bill, and Privatization (First Amendment) Bill, while Minister for Communications and Information Technology Prithiv Subba Gurung presented Good Governance Promotion and Public Service Flow (Amendment) Bill on behalf of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
Similarly, Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation, Balaram Adhikari, presented the
Bill to Amend Some Nepal Acts Related to Cooperatives.
The bills were introduced after notices from lawmakers were rejected by a majority in the House.
