Five books shortlisted for Madan Puraskar

KATHMANDU: Five books have been shortlisted for the Madan Puraskar 2080 BS.

Madan Puraskar Guthi Chairperson Kunda Dixit shared the list in a social media post on Tuesday.

“Out of 304 entries received this year, one of these five books will be awarded the Madan Puraskar,” Dixit wrote in a post on X.

“Damphuko Atamalap” by Bhakta Syangtan, “Nun-Tel” by Jivan Kshetry, “Bhav Lipi” by Bhavbesh Bhumari and Pranita Chamling, “Mukam Ranamaidan” by Mohan Mainali, and “Santraska Sathi Din” by Roshan Thapa Nirab have been shortlisted for the award.

The Madan Puraskar carries a purse of Rs 400,000.
