JANAKPURDHAM: A joint team of police personnel from Nepal and India have arrested five persons in connection to the abduction and murder of two Nepali youths in Sitamadhi of India.
The team have arrested two Nepali nationals and three from India, according to DSP Pradip Bahadur Chhetri at District Police Office, Dhanusha.
According to Chhetri, few more involved in the incident are on the run. “We have begun a manhunt to nab four others in connection to the incident,” he added.
Rohit Sah (21) of Janakpurdham-8 and Bishnu Sah (22) of Janakpurdham-13 were been found dead in Bela Parihar of Sitamadhi, India. The two belong to the same family.
The two had left for their relative’s place in Bela Parihar 13 days ago where they were abducted. A few days after the duo went out of contact, abductors had called Sah’s family demanding a ransom of Rs 5 million.
