KATHMANDU: Nepal’s first session of parliament after the appointment of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal began on Monday.
The election of the Speaker and the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives are among the agendas of this session. Likewise, Prime Minister Dahal is scheduled to take the confidence vote in the House of Representatives on Tuesday.
Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) lawmaker Pashupati Shusmher JBR is chairing the session as the senior-most member of the House.
