KATHMANDU: The Federal Parliament Secretariat has convened an all-party meeting on Wednesday.
Federal Parliament Secretary Padma Prasad Pandeya called the meeting to prepare for the smooth conduct of the parliament session scheduled for 2 pm on Thursday.
Representatives of all political parties in parliament have been invited to the meeting.
The second meeting of the House of Representatives will elect the Speaker and the Deputy Speaker.
Six parties are represented in the new lower house – Rastriya Swatantra Party, Nepali Congress, CPN-UML, Nepali Communist Party, Shram Sanskriti Party, and Rastriya Prajatantra Party.
