JANAKPURDHAM: Madhesh Province Chief Minister Saroj Kumar Yadav on Thursday said that the federal government was against federalism.
Stating that anti-federalist forces and those working to disturb communal harmony in the country were active in the society, Yadav said the province government was unable to take action against them due to a lack of functioning administration. “The federal government has every administrative machinery to deal with them. But it is doing nothing to bring those people to book,” Yadav said, addressing a program organized by the Islam community on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammed on Thursday, Yadav said:

Also speaking on the occasion, CPN-UML leader Juli Mahato urged people to follow the path of Prophet Muhammed who disseminated the message of social harmony and brotherhood all his life.
