KATHMANDU: Kathmandu RayZrs and FC Chitwan played to a 1-1 draw in their second match of the Nepal Super League (NSL) at the Dashrath Stadium in Kathmandu on Tuesday.
Although the match remained goalless in the first half, it burst into life toward the end of the second half. FC Chitwan thought it had secured all three points when Bimal Gharti Magar’s pass to Utsav Rai was deflected into his own post by Kathmandu RayZrs’ Shokhrukh in the 86th minute.
However, FC Chitwan’s joy was short-lived as Junior Onguene scored from a superb volley from outside the box in the 2nd minute of injury time.
The result means FC Chitwan is still goalless in the NSL. It finished the first season of NSL with two draws and four losses, while it suffered a 0-1 defeat from Pokhara Thunders FC in its first match.
Pokhara Thunders will take on Lalitpur City FC in the Nepal Super League on Wednesday.
