EC finalizes polling centers for by-elections in Ilam, Bajhang

KATHMANDU: The Election Commission (EC) has fixed polling centers for the upcoming by-elections in the Ilam-2 seat of the House of Representatives and Bajhang-1(1) seat of Sudurpashchim Province Assembly.

According to the EC Spokesperson Shalikram Sharma Poudel, Ilam-2 will have 79 polling stations and 149 polling centers. Similarly, 74 polling stations and 93 polling centers have been finalized for Bajhang-1(1).

Likewise, a meeting of the EC held on Thursday finalized 10,892 polling centers across the country.

The EC is holding by-elections in Ilam and Bajhang on April 27.
