KATHMANDU: Dr Nitesh Kumar Kanodia has been appointed as the CEO of Sanjeevani College of Medical Sciences, Nepalganj.
He had been serving as the Assistant Director of Nepalganj Medical College for the past five years.
With his appointment as CEO of Sanjeevani College, the 35-year-old young doctor, is now presented with an opportunity to demonstrate his professional expertise. He is the youngest son of Dr. Suresh Kumar Kanodia, the founder and managing director of Nepalganj Medical College, and the founding president of the Association of Private Medical and Dental Colleges of Nepal.
After completing his MBBS at Nepalganj Medical College, Dr. Nitesh chose to leave a secure and attractive opportunity in clinical medicine to pursue healthcare administration. He completed his schooling at Delhi Public School in Lucknow for SLC and at DAV School in Lalitpur for his Plus Two. He completed his MBBS in 2014.
Dr Nitesh has received life support training from the American Heart Association and has undergone training in Hospital Preparedness for Emergencies from the Institute of Medicine (IOM) and the Asian Disaster Preparedness Center (ADPC) in 2015.
“My vision is to make Nepalganj the healthcare hub of western Nepal. I have taken on this challenging responsibility of managing the college and hospital with this belief, and I will move forward through collaboration and coordination with all sectors,” Dr Nitesh said, after assuming office as the CEO of Sanjeevani College of Medical Sciences.
