KATHMANDU: The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) celebrated a double award win at the esteemed 2023 International Accountancy Forum and Awards held in London last week.
The first accolade received was the Professional Body of the Year award, which recognizes the exceptional contributions made by ACCA members and teams worldwide. The entry highlighted ACCA’s dedication to supporting its members and students, focusing on areas such as career guidance, employability, research, governance, sustainability, and the overall development of the accountancy profession, according to a statement issued by ACCA.
Similarly, ACCA’s second triumph came in the form of the Communications Campaign of the Year award. ACCA received the honor for its impactful campaign titled ‘Accounting for a better world.’ The campaign emphasizes the crucial role of the accountancy profession in fostering a better, fairer, and more sustainable global environment.

In addition to these recent honors, ACCA also secured the Resource of the Year Award at the Digital Finance Function Awards earlier this month. The award was granted in recognition of ACCA’s outstanding insights work on the future of professional accountants.
These accolades reflect ACCA’s commitment to excellence and its significant impact on the accountancy profession globally, ACCA said in the statement.
