KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has appointed presidents of three sister organizations of the party.
According to a statement issued by the Nepali Congress Central Office, Deuba has appointed Bal Krishna Dahal of Okhaldhunga as the President of Nepal Prajatantra Senani Sangh; Megh Raj Tandon of Kapilvastu as the Chairman of Nepal Ex-Army Men Association; and Prakash Pantha of Tanahun as the President of National Democratic Disabled Association.
The executive committees of all three sister organizations had been dissolved after the completion of their terms.
The appointments were made as per Section 42 (1) (F) of the Nepali Congress Statute, 1960, according to the statement.
