Dahal’s cabinet to have three Depty PMs

KATHMANDU: CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal is preparing to appoint three Deputy Prime Ministers in his cabinet.

The meeting of the seven-party alliance held at the Maoist Center’s parliamentary party office on Monday held a discussion to appoint UML Vice Chairman Bishnu Poudel, Maoist Center Senior Vice Chairman Narayan Kaji Shrestha and Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairman Rabi Lamichhane as Deputy Prime Minister.

Shrestha is likely to get foreign ministry, while Poudel could become the next home minister. Similarly, Lamichhane has staked claim to the home ministry.

Dahal is taking the oath of office and secrecy at the Office of the President at 4 pm.
