KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has reached New Delhi to attend the swearing-in ceremony of Narendra Modi.
Officer on Special Duty P. Kumaran welcomed Prime Minister Dahal upon his arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport on Sunday afternoon.
“The visit reflects the unique India-Nepal ties and will also provide further impetus to our multi-faceted relationship,” Randhir Jaiswal, official spokesperson for India’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said in a post on the social media platform X.
In addition to Dahal, the Prime Ministers of Bhutan and Bangladesh, and the Presidents of Sri Lanka and the Maldives are also attending the inauguration of Modi’s third term as Prime Minister of India.
