CPN (Maoist Center) Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal
KATHMANDU: The main opposition CPN (Maoist Centre) has expressed dissatisfaction over the attempts of the ruling coalition to remove Deputy Speaker Indira Rana Magar.
Speaking to journalists at the party headquarters on Tuesday, Maoist Center Chairperson and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal said the Nepali Congress (NC) and CPN-UML were making a mistake by attempting to remove the Deputy Speaker.
“The current government has done nothing good except commit mistakes,” Dahal said, adding that his party would oppose any move to remove the deputy speaker.
Dahal also said that it was wrong to target and attempt to unseat a woman of indigenous nationality who has long been active in social service.
The opposition Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has also expressed dissatisfaction over the ruling coalition’s move.
