KATHMANDU: CPN (Maoist Center) Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal has congratulated the newly-elected office-bearers and executive members of All Nepal National Free Students Union-Revolutionary (ANNFSU-R).
Inviting officials of the party’s student wing to his residence on Thursday morning, Prachanda expressed the belief that the energy of the young leaders, elected through a democratic system, will be properly utilized to lead the educational movement and serve the political movement for the progressive transformation of Nepali society.
He also urged all the leaders, who have retired from the student movement, to remain active in various roles within the party.
A vote held on Saturday elected a 243-member executive committee of the ANNFSU (Revolutionary), with Bijaya Prakash Sapkota as its Chairperson.
