KATHMANDU: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) President Rabi Lamicchane has accused Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal of forming another coalition within the ruling coalition to save his government.
“Dahal is portraying his India visit as a big achievement and weakening the investigation into the Bhutanese refugees’ scam just to save his government,” Lamichhane said speaking in the House of Representatives on Friday. “Instead of providing relief to the people and focusing on other pressing national issues, the prime minister is busy working out ways to save his government.”
He also said that the government ignored his request to form a parliamentary special committee to investigate the scam.
“Ruling parties have formed a new coalition within the ruling coalition. I felt the need to raise this issue as the new front has been formed when one of the leaders of the new coalition is not in the country,” Lamichhane said.
