KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu District Court has issued a temporary order to halt the screening of the film ‘Aktor: Take One’.
The film starring Pradeep Khadka, Ana Sharma and debutant Divya Rayamajhi was scheduled to be released on Wednesday.
Responding to a petition filed by Advocate Yagya Mani Neupane, the legal representative of Nepal Diaspora Entertainment, the district court issued a temporary order to halt the screening of the film. According to Neupane, the court has summoned both parties for discussion next Tuesday.
Nepal Diaspora Entertainment, the producer of the film ‘Actor’, moved the district court accusing ‘Aktor: Take One’ of copyright violation.
‘Actor’ released on January 17.
