KATHMANDU: Minister for Home Affairs Ramesh Lekhak has said that talks of amending the constitution will begin by forming a joint task force of two coalition partners – Nepali Congress and CPN-UML.
Speaking at a function in Kathmandu on Tuesday, Minister Lekhak also said that the constitution amendment process has already begun. He insisted that any constitutional amendment will be based on national consensus.
“It, however, will take some time. The government is committed to holding inclusiveness in the constitution amendment process,” Lekhak added.
