KATHMANDU: World leaders have begun congratulating Donald Trump who is set to be elected as US President for the second time.
The congratulations started flowing after the Republican candidate claimed victory over Democratic Party candidate and Vice President Kamala Harris in the US presidential election earlier on the day.
After getting very close to victory in the vote count, Trump claimed his election victory while addressing supporters in Florida.
“I want to thank the American people for the extraordinary honor of being elected your 47th president and your 45th president,” Trump said. “And every citizen, I will fight for you, for your family and for your future. Every single day, I will be fighting for you with every breath in my body.”
