KATHMANDU: A 21-year-old man has been arrested for the alleged murder of his father in Chitwan district.
According to the police, Sunil Chepang was taken into custody on the charge of killing his father, Ram Sharan (41), by hitting him with a stone at their residence in Chumlingtar, Ichchha Kamana Rural Municipality-3, on Tuesday evening.
Witnesses reported that Sunil started attacking his father following a domestic dispute. The locals rescued Ram Sharan and took him to Bharatpur for treatment. But he succumbed to his injuries, police say.
