KATHMANDU: Newly-appointed Chinese Ambassador to Nepal, Zhang Maoming, paid a courtesy call on Minister for Foreign Affairs Balananda Sharma at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday.
According to the ministry, the meeting held at Minister Sharma’s office focused on Nepal–China relations as well as various matters of mutual interest and cooperation.
The non-resident Ambassador of the Maldives to Nepal, Aishath Azeema, also paid a courtesy call on Minister Sharma on Wednesday.
The two discussed various aspects of bilateral relations, according to the ministry.
Both ambassadors presented their letters of credence to President Ramchandra Paudel on Tuesday.
