KATHMANDU: The Netra Bikram Chand-led Communist Party Nepal (CPN) has registered with the Election Commission.
Party Spokesperson Khadga Bahadur Bishwakrma and leaders Santosh Budha Magar and Karnajit Budha, among others, reached the Election Commission office in Kantipath on Tuesday for the registration.
The Election Commission has given political parties until November 16 to register their parties for the general election scheduled for March 5 next year.
Talking to reporters, Bishwakarma said they registered the party to participate in the upcoming polls. According to him, the CPN will set a new path through elections in Nepal’s political movements.
