KATHMANDU: The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has unveiled the new jersey of the Nepali national cricket team.
During the ICC T20 World Cup Trophy Tour in Kathmandu on Monday, Rohit Paudel, Dipendra Singh Airee, and Sompal Kami from the men’s team, along with Indu Barma, Puja Mahato, and Rubina Chhetri from the women’s team, unveiled the new kit of the national team.
The Nepali men’s team is playing in the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, being hosted jointly by India and Sri Lanka from February 7 to March 8. Nepal are in Group C along with Bangladesh, England, Italy, and the West Indies. Nepal will play all their matches at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
Similarly, the women’s team will compete in the Global Qualifier for the 2026 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, which will be jointly hosted by England and Wales. Four of the 10 participating teams will qualify for the World Cup.
