Business leaders cast their votes

KATHMANDU: Industrialists and businesspeople have participated actively in the election for the House of Representatives and province assemblies.

President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) Shekhar Golcha cast his votes at Sitapaila Secondary School Polling Center in Kathmandu-8 constituency. Likewise, Senior Vice President of FNCCI Chandra Prasad Dhakal cast his votes at Bishalnagar Polling Center, while Former President Pashupati Murarka reached Guheshwari School Polling Center in Thapathali to cast his votes.

Similarly, Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) President Vishnu Agrawal reached the Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management Polling Center in Rabi Bhawan to cast his votes.

After casting their votes, business leaders said they hope the new political leaders will focus on economic development.

FNCCI President Golchha said the new leadership should focus on economic and industrial development and the nation’s prosperity.
