At least 10 feared dead in Marshyangdi bus accident

KATHMANDU: At least 10 passengers have died in Tanahun bus accident.

According to the Armed Police Force, which is involved in the rescue works, rescue workers have recovered at least 10 bodies. More than 80 personnel, including divers, are involved in rescue workers, it added.

The bus with Indian registration, coming to Kathmandu from Pokhara, fell off the road near Aina Pahara cliff on the Anbukhaireni-Muglin section of the Prithvi Highway and plunged into Marshyangdi River on Friday.

The bus was carrying Indian tourists.
