KATHMANDU: Former President Bidya Devi Bhandari has unveiled a book titled ‘KP Sharma Oli in Parliament’.
At a program organized by Equal Access Nepal and Savyata Innovation Centre here in Kathmandu on Tuesday, former President Bhandari shared that the book, which documents the speeches of CPN (UML) Chairperson and former Prime Minister Oli, is important as he is the most popular figure in the Nepali politics. “The book offers a glimpse of the history of Nepali politics and Oli’s contribution to prosperity,” she added.
The book is edited by Sani Maiya Khadka, who is doing a PhD on KP Oli, with the help of Prof Dr Rishi Ram Sharma and Prof Dr Hemnath Poudel.
UML General-Secretary Shankar Pokhrel, former Chancellors of Nepal Academy Bairagi Kainla and Ganga Prasad Upreti and writer Purushottam Dahal, among others were present on the occasion.
